"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has."

Current Issues

  • Safety

Collaborate with colleagues to advance meaningful traffic calming measures. We have seen too frequently the alarming consequences of a turn taken too fast or an overcorrection that ends in disaster—it's clear that safer streets must remain a priority.

Additionally, it's time to identify a suitable location for an ambulance bay on Waltham’s North Side to ensure faster emergency response and equitable access to critical services.

  • Health

Mental health is a vital component of overall well-being and often presents with physical symptoms. Recently, Ward 6 Councillor Sean Durkee introduced a Mental Health Resolution aimed at connecting residents with local resources. As we face a nationwide mental health crisis—marked by rising demand and a shortage of providers—it's more important than ever to provide resources and end the stigma. I look forward to working collaboratively to expand these efforts and reduce barriers to care for our community.

  • Services

Development inevitably brings increased traffic, but it also plays a vital role in keeping taxes stable and addressing our housing needs. Smart, thoughtful development is essential—and finding the right balance between growth and green space is critical to preserving Waltham’s character and livability.

While rodent issues are a reality in any city, we can take proactive steps to reduce their impact by avoiding conditions that attract and support infestations. Providing lidded trash bins to residents, prioritizing education and warnings before issuing fines, and maintaining consistency in enforcement are all practical ways we can make a meaningful difference.

Our new high school is home to a variety of in-demand Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs—so popular, in fact, that some students are being turned away. I would fully support budget initiatives to expand these programs, not only for our students but also for adults seeking non-traditional pathways to education and career growth.

  • Communication

In public service, the citizens of Waltham are our customers—and just like in any successful organization, a positive experience begins with clear, timely, and effective communication. Too often, even well-intentioned city initiatives lose impact due to a lack of transparent outreach. I look forward to applying my background in customer experience to help ensure that residents are informed, engaged, and confident in the projects that shape our community.
